My Story
I spent four and a half years making music videos. Fast edits, fast turnarounds, tour buses. I was good at it, but it left me empty.
My best friend asked me to film his wedding overseas. At first I said no. Then I did it, and when him and his now wife walked behind the venue wall, I heard their first conversation married in my headphones. I cried so hard I couldn't see the camera screen in front of me.
I knew right then I wanted to do that a thousand more times.
Why I only take 15 weddings a year
I wanted to create something built on truth.
A film like this takes trust, and trust takes time.
So I keep it small. I get on calls with you before the day. If I can, I come to the rehearsal dinner and get to know your people. By the wedding, I'm not the guy with the camera. I'm Cole.
That's when the real version of everyone shows up.

Tell me your story.
Choosing a filmmaker to tell your story is a big decision. If you've made it this far, something in my work probably stuck with you, and that means a lot. I'd be honored to document your day with the care it deserves. Take your time, look through the films, and if it feels right, let's hang out on Zoom.
How long until we get our film?
Lovecards 6 to 8 weeks. Keepsake and Vowkeeper 3 to 5 months. The day-of preview is same day.
How many weddings do you take, and how far ahead should we book?
10 to 15 a year. About a year out is comfortable. Pairs with the dates listed at the top of this page.
Who shows up on the day? Is it just you?
I'm always there. Vowkeeper and Keepsake include a second shooter. Lovecards is just me. Want social-ready clips too? A content creator can join as an add-on.
How many hours do you stay?
No hourly cap. About 10 hours on average. I stay as long as it matters, and always check-in before leaving.
Do we get the raw footage/What is the Archive?
Raw footage lives in the Archive. The Archive is the complete, unedited footage from your day. It's included with Vowkeeper. With Keepsake or Lovecards, you can add it later.
